The new ETPR-EI and ETPS-EI fire dampers respond to modern safety requirements. Their task is to prevent the spread of fire and smoke from one fire area to another. In the EI classification system, E means that the construction is able to prevent the spread of smoke and I relates to the thermal insulation capability. EI-class fire dampers can be used in wall constructions without any need for duct insulation, by which extra work is eliminated and cost savings are effectively achieved.

The ETPR-EI is a high-quality, versatile fire damper for connection to a round duct and available as either a fuse or motorised model. It is type-approved in accordance with the EN-1366-2 test standard in many European countries, fulfilling the EI-60 / E-120 fire class in addition to the requirements of tightness class.

The ETPS-EI belongs to the same product family, a fire damper that is connected to a rectangular duct, and is available in a wide variety of sizes and lengths.
